Deentik is an Islamic knowledge platform dedicated to helping modern Muslims in the United States understand what is haram (forbidden) and halal (permissible) according to authentic Islamic teachings. Our mission is to bridge classical Islamic scholarship with contemporary American Muslim life.

About the Founder

This website is founded and written by Akhmad Syafiuddin, an expert in Islamic discourse and law, and a graduate of Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt.

He is passionate about making Islamic rulings accessible, authentic, and relevant to today's Muslims — especially those navigating life in the West.
